What is Functional Fitness?

Functional fitness is that bit of training that lies between your work in the gym, going on a run or cross-training and playing/competing in your sport competitively.

This involves training and increasing your strength and abilities in those sport-specific movements.

BUT WHY?

By improving your functional fitness you are increasing your body's adaptability to your sport, aiming to improve your performance and decrease your chances of injury.
